I loved being part of Wendy and Justin's day. It rained in the morning, but then it cleared up and was the perfect day for an outdoor wedding at Arbor Hall. There were so many great moments throughout the day, but probably my favorite was their first dance. It was so sweet and they just looked like they were having so much fun together. Big thanks to Nina for second shooting with me!
I knew from the engagement session that Kelsey and Kyle were a great couple. The kind that you want to stay friends with. Their wedding was a complete blast and I'm so happy that I was able to play a small part in it.
I love being a photographer in Omaha. We don't have a big downtown, but every time I go exploring with a couple I find new places that I never knew existed. Jake anda Katrina were so much fun to photograph - I swear it was impossible for Katrina to take a bad photo. It's always interesting to hear about how a couple met, and on this engagement shoot I got to see it firsthand! We may a quick detour to where it all began... Platteview high school!
As always, if you know anyone that's getting married in Omaha, I'm now taking 2014 wedding clients and love referrals from friends!
Where do I even begin with this wedding? It was absolutely perfect. I am so happy that Kayla and Jeff invited Kevin and I to be part of their wedding on Anna Maria Island, Florida. It was totally a family and close friend affair, which are my favorite. Kayla's dad performed the morning ceremony on the beach, while Jeff's dad and a friend played the music. There wasn't an official wedding party since everyone that came down was really part of the party so we just did a few quick snapshots of the group and the families on the beach, then everybody headed back to the beach house for some brunch. After some brunch, Kevin and I and Kayla and Jeff jumped on a golf cart and explored around the island a bit, and then we all headed back for some time on the beach and a pool party. Fabulously relaxed, beautiful, and personal. Just what a wedding should be. Congrats to you both!
