We downsized our condo about 2 years ago and just threw the furniture that we already owned together. I thought that living back in our tiny 620 square foot condo on 16th and Farnam would be somewhat temporary, but after we've been back living here for 2 years we've realized that lots of living space doesn't compare to all the other things we want. We want to walk places, we want to travel a ton, we want to start businesses. So we decided to make this our semi permanent home, and honestly, we really love living here.
I'm a big believer in supporting local business and letting the professionals do their job, so we were so lucky to get to work with Jessica and Ginger at Birdhouse Interiors to help us redesign the space. I definitely can have a lot of opinions and always like to explore ALL my options before making purchases, but Jessica was beyond patient with me. She worked with us to do mood boards, recommend stores, source vintage pieces, and recommend contractors like the amazing Peter at Measure Cut Cut for the custom coffee table and shelves.
Here is the original mode board Jessica and Ginger put together for the space, and the before and after pictures. Not only does the space feel more open now that we painted the walls and ceiling stark white, but it is 100 times more functional and easy to keep clean with all the new storage. Thanks again to Birdhouse Interiors for their great work!
