Pacific Northwest Road Trip: Photography

Kevin and I had a great eight day road trip in the Pacific Northwest last month (Portland, OR...Dayton, OR.... Hermiston, OR....Richland, WA....Walla Walla, WA...Spokane; WA....Coeur D'Alene, ID....Sandpoint, ID).  I'm just now sorting through all the pictures.  The scenery was incredible.  From Mt. Hood, to Wine Country, to Multnomah Falls, the Columbia River Gorge, and the beautiful lakes and mountains in Coeur d'alene and Sandpoint, Idaho, the whole thing was incredible. Favorite part of the trip was definitely wine tasting in Willamette Valley, just an hour south of Portland.  If you ever head out this direction, I'd totally recommend the bed and breakfast / vineyard we stayed at in Dundee Hills Wine Country Farm (trip advisor).  If you go you have to try their Muller-Thurgau wine - I had never tried a wine made with these grapes before and it is wonderful.  Other things I loved: Powell Bookstore in Portland, the restaurant Wine O'Clock in Prosser, Washington, renting a jet ski in Coeur d'Alane, and taking the ski lift up to the top of the mountain in Sandpoint.  Biggest regret of the trip was packing two huge suitcases.  That was a terrible idea.
