Jiear + Jason: A beautifully unique Omaha wedding

Jiear and Jason are such a fabulous and spunky couple and it was amazing to spend the day with their wonderful friends and family.  Some of my favorite parts of the wedding:  1) how excited Jason was to see Jiear for the first time;  2) Jiear's long beautiful hair;  3) how nice everyone in the wedding party was; 4) the cake table; 5) the polaroid photo guest book; and 5) last but not least  how at the reception the wedding party changed into traditional Hmong clothing as a homage to Jiear's family and her heritage.

Jiear and Jason it has been wonderful getting to know you guys and I'm so glad that I got to be part of your beautiful wedding.

Thank you to the talented Taura Horn for second shooting with me.

Kim + Derek: A whimsical August Wedding

Kim and Derek not only know how to put on a gorgeous wedding, they are close friends of Kevin and I's.  It was an honor and so much fun to be part of their day.

I loved all the small details Kim had planned... like her green bridesmaid dresses and her green wedding shoes to match.  And how fun was their getaway car?!  Donut bar and late-night pizza - my kind of wedding!

Congrats again Kim and Derek and enjoy the photos!

Joey + Kyle: Lied Lodge

Joey and Kyle are honestly the nicest, nicest people I've met recently.  Seriously Joey, I want to make you my friend!  Not only is Joey super sweet, but she knows how to throw a beautiful wedding and an awesome party.  The barn at the Lied Lodge looked absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks to my lovely husband Kevin for second shooting with me.  We had an awesome time listening and partying with the band.  Such a fun day!

Congrats again Kyle and Joey and enjoy the photos!

Clare + Josh: A Cathedral Wedding, Omaha Nebraska

Clare is just such a beauty (on the inside and out!) and I loved her ballgown dress.  It was perfect for a classic summer wedding at St. Cecilia.

Some of my favorite parts of the day were when Clare shed some tears reading the note that Josh wrote her, when the bridesmaids saw Clare for the first time, when Clare walked down the aisle with her long cathedral veil.  After the wedding it was super fun to stop at the Homy Inn (champaign on tap!) and all of the crazy dancing at the reception.

Congrats Clare and Josh!!

Kelly + Mark: An intimate courthouse wedding

The wedding Kelly and Mark planned just goes to show you how simply you can plan your wedding and still have beautiful moments and beautiful photos.  I only spent a little over an hour shooting Kelly and Mark's wedding, but I think you'll be able to see the happiness on both of their faces.

When Kelly reached out to me she said "Mark and I were pretty adamant that we were NOT going to ever even say the “M” word. 10 years together and here we are, planning a wedding. Evidently, we’ve softened our stance on the issue!"

I love that she called it the "M" word!  Kelly's son was leaving for basic training at the end of August and wanted them to get married before he left so he could be part of it.  Seriously, the whole bunch of them were so great.  I loved Kelly's choice in dress, the old courthouse, and their matching rings were so cool.

Kelly, hope you and Mark enjoy some of these photos!  I really enjoyed meeting you guys and congrats again!
