When Abby contacted about me about shooting a few photos with her hubbie before they left Nebraska, I was totally excited. Hope you guys enjoy these photos and a little piece of Nebraska. I'm sure you won't miss our CRAZY weather :)
Missy + Rob Dominican Republic Wedding
I didn't know Missy before she found me online and asked if I might want to come shoot her wedding in the Dominican Republic. But a few too many glasses of wine later we had hatched up a plan for Missy to do some personal training for Kevin and I and for us to shoot her wedding. That's one of my favorite aspects of being a wedding photographer -- complete strangers can totally turn into lifelong friends. And Kevin and I've actually started exercising. Yay! Check out Missy's fitness business here.
Kevin and I had an amazing time celebrating in the Dominican Republic with Missy and Rob and their awesome family... drinking mimosas, convincing the wait staff to make us a REAL Dominican Republic meal, going on some sand buggies (here's a video!), and taking photos in the "jungle" :)
They are celebrating this Saturday with some of their local friends and family that weren't able to make it to the actual wedding. I hope you guys have a blast and enjoy sharing the pictures with your friends and family. Kevin and I are so happy to be friends with you guys and it was amazing to be part of your wedding.
Greg + Ashley: Engagement Photos Omaha, NE
Greg and Ashley are seriously two of the most genuine and friendly people I've met recently. I don't know how we haven't met them before since Greg is cousin's with one of our good friends Sarah.
Kevin and I super excited to be part of their wedding this November :)
Laura + Kevin: Westside Wedding, Omaha, NE
The weather was so perfect for Laura and Kevin and Taura and I had a blast shooting these. Check out the epic photo bomb by Laura. Bomb.
Danielle + Chris: Rainy downtown Omaha engagement shoot
Second time we've planned on these photos and it's the second time it has poured down rain. Seriously -- Nebraska weather loves to throw a wrench in my plans. This time we refused to cancel for the weather, and even though it rained the whole time, I love so many of these photos. And the indoor pictures were taken in Chris and Danielle's apartment building downtown, which I think is super cool.
Danielle and Chris are awesome creative people (Danielle even made my photography logo and a million other design projects over the years) and I hope these capture just a bit of them. They've been together almost 10 years and Kevin and I are so excited to celebrate with them in Mexico for their wedding. Big thanks to Kevin for shooting these photos with me (and being a good sport when I asked him to hold the umbrella).
