Molly + Ethan: A fall mini-engagement session

Engagement shoots are always fun, but I especially love them when we incorporate something really personal to the couple.  We started this shoot off at Molly and Ethan's new house.  Seriously, how freaking cute is their house??  Perfect couple and perfect fall day.  Doesn't get any better than this.

So excited for the wedding!

Mona + SiamaK: an outdoor wedding in omaha

What a beautiful celebration.  Its really fun working with couples that have been together for a long time -- it makes the wedding even bigger of a celebration.  Mona and Siamak couldn't be nicer humans.  You can see the joy on their faces just being with each other.  I'm so glad I got to witness this one.

Katie + AaroN: Gorgeous Omaha Wedding at Magnolia hotel

Holy cow.  Katie and Aaron's wedding was amazing.  Not only are Katie and Aaron the sweetest and most easy going people... both of them are super beautiful on the outside in addition to the inside :)  I swear, I couldn't take a bad picture of either of them... especially with the huge smiles they had on their faces and how happy and loving they were to each other all day.

Some of my favorite parts of the day were the thoughtful gift Katie's sister got her with all the photos and invitations from all their wedding festivities, Katie's beautiful lace dress with the long train, after the ceremony Katie and Aaron sneaking off to enjoy a quiet moment with just the two of them with a bottle of champagne, the amazing live band and their friends and family that loved to dance and party, how much Katie and Aaron's mom danced together at the reception and how Katie's dad teared up during their first dance.  Also, I loved the choregoraphed dance Katie and Aaron did for their first dance.  Normally I'm not a fan of choreographed dances for the first dance because often couples are too nervous to really enjoy their moment together, but Katie and Aaron had a great time with it and it was so fun.

Very happy for you both and thanks for letting me photograph your day!

Kristen + Paul: Gorgeous May wedding

The day started with rain but ended with great weather.  I've noticed that I always appreciate nice weather more once we've had a bit of rain.  Kristen and Paul had such an amazing day.  Some of my favorite parts were... Kristen holding Paul's hand without him actually seeing her, the color of the bridesmaid dresses, the beautiful bouquets, Paul watching Kristen come down the aisle and trying not to choke up, the red barn, the amazing friends on their party bus, Kristen's brother taking a knock on the head but coming back strong for the reception, Paul dancing with his grandma and the donut bar at the reception.  So glad that Kristen and Paul invited me to be part of this.  Congrats again!
