Lindsey + Michael: A September bowtie wedding

I got to shoot Lindsey's sister Kelsey's wedding a few years ago and it was an honor to get to shoot Lindsey and Michael's wedding.  One of the things that's amazing about photography is getting to know peoples' families and it has been amazing to know their family.  Kelsey's and Lindsey's mom tragically passed away after a long fight with cancer, but there were lots of ways Lindsey incorporated reminders of her mom into the wedding (like a photo of her on her bouquet that she had with her all day).  And even though the day started out a bit rainy, right when the ceremony started the sun peaked out and it was just beautiful light.  I think they may have had a little help with the weather from Lori :)

Some of my favorite parts of the wedding were just how sweet Michael was to Lindsey, their first look, and the beautiful veil Lindsey wore that has been in her family for decades, and the wedding band (Something Blue) are always hilarious and fun.

Congrats Lindsey and Michael and I'm hoping for a lifetime of happiness for you both!

Sarah + Patrick: A gorgeous Omaha September wedding

Sarah and Patrick had an absolutely stunning wedding.  Patrick was beyond excited to see Sarah for the first time (it was so sweet) and I loved getting to hang out with the two of them and their friends and family all day.

Even though the Paxton is only a block away from where I live, I've never had the opportunity to shoot there.  It was absolutely beautiful and I loved being able to sneak up to the roof while the sun was setting. Congrats again Sarah and Patrick!

Thanks to Kayla Failla for second shooting with me.

Michale + Brandon: A gorgeous August wedding

It was so fun to be part of Michale and Brandon were just beyond excited to get married.  You could see the excitement on both of their faces throughout the ceremony.  And Brandon even shed a few tears when he saw Michael for the first time coming down the aisle.  Doesn't get much sweeter than that.

After the ceremony we went to Lake Zorinsky which is actually where Michale and Brandon reconnected when they ran into each other on a run.  It's a beautiful place and it's always great to go somewhere with meaning.

Thanks to Kayla Failla for second shooting with me!

Jiear + Jason: A beautifully unique Omaha wedding

Jiear and Jason are such a fabulous and spunky couple and it was amazing to spend the day with their wonderful friends and family.  Some of my favorite parts of the wedding:  1) how excited Jason was to see Jiear for the first time;  2) Jiear's long beautiful hair;  3) how nice everyone in the wedding party was; 4) the cake table; 5) the polaroid photo guest book; and 5) last but not least  how at the reception the wedding party changed into traditional Hmong clothing as a homage to Jiear's family and her heritage.

Jiear and Jason it has been wonderful getting to know you guys and I'm so glad that I got to be part of your beautiful wedding.

Thank you to the talented Taura Horn for second shooting with me.
