Maddie and Ben are such great people and it was a blast to be part of their wedding. Man was Maddie's dress was absolutely stunning.

I always like when I can get a sense of a couple's story, and this engagement session was perfect. We got to start of the session at The Crescent Moon where Katie and Chad first met, and we all got to share a drink and chat. Then we headed further west where they live and picked up their dog to head out to a barn that Chad had his eye on. I love when couple's bring their own inspiration to their shoots. These guys are super great people and I'm glad I got to take their photos :)
Emily and Ryan have become really great friends of ours so when Ryan mentioned to me that he was planning on proposing I was so excited! Unfortunately he picked a day that I already was shooting a wedding, and his plan was rather elaborate that involved jumping out of a plane(!!!), so they couldn't reschedule. Luckily my good friend Nina was able to step in for me and get some great photos of Ryan's surprise. Congrats again Emily and Ryan!!

I've known Kassie and Lee through our mutual friends Nina and Robert, and I've always loved running into them over the years. They are super fun people so I was SO excited when Kassie asked me to photograph the wedding.
The crazy Nebraska wind tried to get us down, but we didn't let it stop us from going outside, and I'm really glad we didn't. I hope they like the photos as much as I liked being part of it!

I was so happy that Audrey and John invited me to be part of their wedding in Sioux City. I thought it was so effortlessly classic and beautiful and Audrey and John are just amazing to be around. I love so many of the images from their day.
Rather than driving home after the wedding Taura and I stayed the night in Sioux City and got to drink some wine down by the river. :) Big thanks to Taura for not only being a great photographer but a great friend too! Excited to have more Sioux City weddings this year.
