Omaha Engagement Session

Shalu and I have been trying to make this engagement session work for months and the dang Nebraska spring just hasn't cooperated with us.  Finally a nice day today!  Had a lot of fun exploring with these guys.  Shalu's dress was just gorgeous.

Stephanie + Kelly: Omaha Country Club Wedding

I don't get the opportunity to shoot too many winter weddings in Nebraska, but this one was absolutely perfect.  They had the most beautiful blue sky February day, and I just loved all the beautiful pinks and grey's that were incorporated into the decor.  Taylor from Frosted Pink Weddings did an amazing job pulling this all together.  Also, big thanks to Colin Conces for second shooting with me.  

It was such a privilege to be part of Stephanie and Kelly's day and I'm looking forward to keeping in touch with these guys.  Congrats again you two!

Ashley + Cyle: 20 minute engagement session

We started this 20 minute engagement session with where it all began for Ashley and Cyle -- Billy Frog's :)  

Kate and Alex: 15 minute engagement session

Most engagement sessions are around two and a half hours and we change outfits and move to several different locations.  This photo shoot was a fun challenge because these guys are going to do a full engagement session in the spring when the weather is nicer, but really just wanted one photo for their save the dates.  So I told them that they could come to our building downtown and we could do a 15 minute session right there on the sidewalk of our building.  I couldn't believe I was able to resist the temptation to shoot for longer, but the cold weather definitely helped.  

I love so many of these images -- especially for such a short session.  Really excited for Kate and Alex's wedding this fall.

Blush Bridal: Nebraska Bridal Store

This fall I had the chance to work with Emmy, the owner of the wonderful Blush Bridal boutique, a Nebraska bridal store, on a short video on Blush.  This was really my first attempt at doing any video so I was scrambling to pull that together, but I did manage to snap a few pictures along the way too.  Don't worry, none of these are the actual dress Leslie choose  :) Thanks Leslie and your friends for being such great models for the shoot, you're going to make an absolutely gorgeous bride!  Emmy -- your bridal store is absolutely beautiful.  Thanks for letting me be part of this!
