Mary and Keith Wedding: Omaha, Nebraska

July 12, 2013 Wedding: This was a great day. Mary is seriously the sweetest, most chill person you'll ever meet. And Keith is really funny and is also the first groom that made me all teary eyed when he was toasting his new bride and thanking his parents. Ok Keith, you got me. Ceremony was at Peace Presbyterian Church and reception was at Indian Creek :)

Amanda + Tom wedding: Scott Center: Omaha, Nebraska

Amanda and Tom had such a great wedding on July 6, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary church in Omaha, NE.  There were so many things that I loved about being part of their wedding, but hands down the best part is Amanda and Tom's personalities.  They are both sooo great, and they also have a great group of friends (largest wedding party all year for me!).  This was my first time shooting at St. Margaret Mary's and I think it might be my new favorite church to shoot in.  I'm glad we decided to take a shot of Amanda and Tom toward the back of the church (instead of the traditional on the alter shot) so that you could really get a sense of the space. The reception was at the Scott Conference Center.  This blog post has WAY to many photos in it and I tried to cut out some of the dancing photos but I just like so many of them...

As a wedding photographer based out of Omaha, Nebraska, it's not often that I get to shoot in another city -- especially one as awesome as Chicago.  Kevin and I had a a great weekend being part of Emily and Tony's day.  Hope you enjoy these sneak peeks and a bonus video I recorded :)

Sometimes when I'm shooting a wedding I get the feeling that a video might actually tell the story even better than a photo...  This was awesome.

Kayla + Rob: Omaha Wedding Photography

6/29/2013: I loved being part of Kayla and Rob's wedding at St. Mary Magdalene and the Scottish Rite in downtown Omaha, NE. The weather was just perfect, everyone was so relaxed and happy, and Kayla and Rob are just the nicest people. I know they are going to have an amazing life together. Big thanks to my husband Kevin for second shooting with me.  He did a great job and we had a lot of fun.
