Michelle and Max: Omaha wedding photographer: A snowy engagement session
March 12, 2013: When you are an Omaha wedding photographer sometimes you just have to take what the weather deals you. Michelle lives in New York. Max lives in Pittsburg. And they are getting married in Omaha. They came back for the weekend so we thought we could do some nice "spring" engagement pictures. The weather didn't quite go as planned (snow!), but since this was one of the only weekends they are coming back in town together before the wedding... we made it happen.
Sometimes the most challenging situations end up being the absolute best. I think it helps when you have a couple like Michelle and Max who are super fun and great together. They met the first week in college when they were going to school in Oklahoma and have been dating ever since. How cute is that?
And they wanted to start the engagement session with a glass of wine. That's when I know they are a couple after my own heart.
Thanks to Lila from the wonderful Nosh Wine Lounge in downtown Omaha for letting us start the session here!
As always, if you know someone in town that is looking for an Omaha wedding photographer, I always really, really appreciate the referral. I'm only taking 3 more clients in 2013, and 2014 is starting to book up too! Thanks :)
Anita and Beau engaged!

Ashley and Jason: Omaha Engagement Photos
Ashley and Jason are great. And Ashley is a big time planner like I am so we've got to have all sorts of fun chats about her wedding. I'm super pumped to see it all come together.
Things I will remember about this shoot: Jason's great jokes, their perfect outfit choice for fall photos, how not fair it is that Ashley both has great hair and great legs, weird buildings and long shadows. Hope you guys like the pictures!
Teela and Zach: Engaged!
Things I'm going to remember about this shoot: Teela's pretty teal dress. How comfortable and natural Teela and Zach are together. Taking pictures near the Douglas County Corrections Facility and realizing we could hear the inmates. Stumbling across a hidden coffee shop that's only a block from our condo and chatting it up with the owner over coffee.
